Very nicely located, sitting on the terrace with a fantastic view of the backwaters. Always very full, best to reserve. Eat good.

A wonderful place to relax on the backwater. I didn't want to go home anymore - and I have a very nice home. The rooms are very nice and furnished with attention to detail (tea, small fridge). The view from the room to the backwater is unique. The breakfast was very good. You can tell everywhere that the goal of the people there is that the guests feel comfortable and have a good time.

The staff is just world class! The service team is always in a good mood and super nice. The food is just fantastic too. The kitchen deserves an extra star. The dishes are prepared with a lot of heart. We stayed 4 nights and will definitely be back. Keep up the good work and don't lose your job! This makes vacation even more fun for the guest.

Really nice location! The staff and breakfast was very good (maybe also offer something vegan). You can definitely relax here. It is also not far to the train station if you want to go somewhere else. We will come back.

Anyone who gets upset about prices and service in such a place is wasting their time! If your heart does not open here, but feels weighed down by little things, you can no longer help. OK, if the booking doesn't work, that's unprofessional. But to be able to be at the crack is a privilege for me. And then get the cake myself and enjoy life.

The detour to the cafe during a bike tour is not worth it - the food is average and overpriced considering the quality. The service is unfriendly and incompetent - service is different! Only the view of the Achterwasser is very nice, although you should not stop at the Cafe Knatter.

Unfortunately the cafe was closed on a Saturday. And that with the best weather for excursions. You can only shake your head.

The rooms are nicely furnished, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio is far apart. Service is different. Food is okay and the service staff are nice.

We are very disappointed with the order management this year. If you try to order by phone, you will be automatically sent Announcement on the order email. The email was not replied to. Then I went there and was turned away unkindly. That spoils the impression of friendly hospitality. Too bad.

We are actually very satisfied every time. Regarding the current situation, we were unfortunately disappointed: - Staff do not wear masks - no distance maintenance (tables close together) - No address submission for follow-up - smaller menu, smaller portions As a guest you don't necessarily feel safe.

Today we were spontaneously enjoying the sunset over dinner on the terrace in the Cafe Knatter. My goat cheese and beef burger were delicious. The crackling fries were just normal fries. My companion had a delicious pumpkin soup and ribs 600 g. The ribs were dry and the meat did not peel off the bones well. They weren't prepared well, so even the thick coat of paint is of no use. We also waited a long time for our main course (1.5 hours). The starter came surprisingly quickly. The location and the sunset are of course unbeatable. My question about a blanket was answered in the negative, but it was too fresh to stay longer and enjoy a caipi as planned.

Have been to Café Knatter for dinner today and have to say that the dishes are really excellent. A compliment to the kitchen. A very special praise also goes to our charming wait staff. The service has been great. Quite the opposite of the boss of the house. He serves the guests with a petrified expression, making a face like a week of rain. It's a shame, because he should learn a bit from his employees.

Exceptionally nice service (even special requests from our children were easily fulfilled), very good food, great view. We went to Cafe Knatter three times in a row during our vacation, we liked it so much!

The restaurant is in a great location with a wonderful view of the backwater. The food is also recommendable, but nothing for penny pinchers. No reason for complaints, the market economy should have understood by now. I like to come here often and can highly recommend the restaurant!

I found the staff to be very nice and helpful. The range of food and drinks is very good and sufficient. I also found the price-performance ratio appropriate. The ambience with a view of the lake is great. In my view, this location is well worth a visit.

Super Location, excellent coffee and cake in the afternoon, dinner very good - try the fish-soup, the fish or the burger, good regional cuisine, the South African red wine is super. Little hotel with cute rooms and excellent water sports facilities: surfing, sailing, catamaran and kiting
